2008 Western Adventure

Day 14 - July 3, 2008

I woke up this morning and was feeling a little under the weather.  I think it was a combination of not enough sleep and the cold rain that I rode in yesterday.  In addition, I was experiencing some difficulty running out of breath when walking, even short distances.  I think most of that my be caused by high altitude.  I lounged around in the morning and was feeling a little better, so I went out for lunch.  I found a local place that had great food.  Then I wanted to go to a Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of things, but found out that the Wal-Mart was in the next town, Frisco.  Fortunately, Frisco was only a few miles away.  When I went into Wal-Mart it was cloudy, but warm.  When I came out it was cold and raining.  That's all I needed, but I got on my bike and headed for the hotel.  By the time I got back it had stopped raining, but I was already wet.  I took my clothes off right away and put on something dry. 

The rest of the afternoon I did a little work, and updated my travel report.  My plan is to get to bed early, so I'll say goodnight now.
